gemsy – Super healthy naman ng sisig na gusto mo. The key to cooking sisig that is not made out of pork or fat is to saute it until try. So you can marinade the bangus or tofu in soy sauce and calamansi, or maybe vinegar and soy sauce. It depends how you like to flavor your sisig. Then you need to pan fry in oil, garlic and sili until it is dry enough to mimic crispiness. You can then add onions last since this adds to the crunch. I dont have a sizzling plate so I prefer to serve and eat immediately after cooking so its still hot.

Unit 8 Café had its official launch last June 21, 2009 and is open daily from 10 am – 10pm.
As mentioned in our concept paper presented to SM when we applied for a space in SM MOA:
“Our food is inspired by the knowledge that good food can be simple yet elegant, delicious
yet uncomplicated or inexpensive. Unit 8 Café offers a range of bar chows, sandwiches,
hot meals, desserts and nibbles available any time of the day.
The food is prepared using the freshest locally-available flavours in season, in a modern and
relaxed manner not limited by traditions or cultural influences, and served in a simple yet
elegant and vibrant style. Simply put, the focus is on the freshness of the ingredients
and the simplicity of its preparation. Making it quicker, easier, lighter, fresher and reasonably
priced.”
The team is headed by Chef Teresa Hembrador. She studied Hotel and Restaurant
Administration at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and further honed her skills by
working locally and internationally as Executive Chef of Zenbu and Fresh in Sydney Australia,
Planet Hollywood in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo and as Kitchen Manager of TGI Friday’s
El Pueblo.

But now it’s different because they have 3 Cravings Group brands: C2 Classic Cuisine, CCA-Manila Culinary School and C3 Events Place. It’s a good place to check.
