Giving way to relief operations for Typhoon Ondoy

I cannot bring myself to write about food or the latest lunch or dinner I had taken this week as the whole country suffers as a result of destruction caused by Typhoon Ondoy. I myself have a personal experience with this as I help my family deal with the aftermath, work their way towards recovering from this trauma, and start rebuilding their lives.

So let me just request all my readers to spare a bit of their time and resources and help the survivors of Typhoon Ondoy. To help, you can visit any of the following relief centers that collect donations.

  1. Victory Fort is opening its doors to those affected by the typhoon. Call 813-FORT.

  13. La Salle Greenhills for Greenhills/Mandaluyong/San Juan Area, if you want to help out with the rescue and relief operations, you can drop off your donations (clothes, food, etc..) at LSGH Gate 2 or volunteer from 9am to receive, sort, repack the donations.
  14. St. Pedro Poveda College is now accepting relief goods. call the Social Action Center (+632-6318756 loc. 121)

    the images of the aftermath are so depressing but on the brighter side, bayanihan spirit is alive once again! i wish everyone can reach out. prayers are most essential.
