Coke Zero

Coke Zero is finally here. I witnessed the stacking of these cool new black bottles of soda at the grocery last weekend. I immediately waved the men aside so that I could get my hands on one. I was excited to have my first taste of this diet soda as I have heard a lot about it from my friends in the office.
Coke Zero is a sugar-free variation of the famous cola. It has been re-packaged and marketed to appeal more to the supposedly weight-conscious people of today. I am a fan of Pepsi Max which is a softdrink that is has no sugar but maximum in taste so I was sure coke zero was a must try.
I must say that Coke Zero brings the original taste of Coke without the heavy feeling associated with it. It also kept the zing that is brought about by the fizz as you drink it. Pepsi Max on the other hand, although tasty to me – lacks that zing that tickles your nose as you drink. The verdict? I love ‘em both. What about you? What is your poison?

Wah. That’s my signature pitch right there. hehe
I dunno how to answer your question. I can’t even tell the difference between regular Coke and Coke light. My taste buds go haywire at the presence of soda acid
Hiya Jeff! Miss you na. I can’t believe you cannot tell the difference between regular and light. Coz if that’s the case, you definitely will have a harder time distinguishing between regular and coke zero. They have the same… ummm – feel.
Have tasted Coke Zero and I think their claim on taste falls flat. You can still taste the artificial sweetener especially when it’s not ice cold. At the end of the day, it’s just another Coke Light with a black label and a tv commercial that doesn’t say anything at all. Poor Coke, they must be really feeling the wrath of C2 that they are forced to sell a ‘healthier’ alternative in the Philippines.
But I still love Coke Classic. That’s my poison.
CokeClassicLover – I lost my taste for Coke Classic when I started feeling my teeth thicken with all the sugar passing through my mouth.
By C2 do you mean the iced tea? Honestly, I feel there can be no comparison. C2 is…. definitely not Coke!
Saw the bottles, they look cute! Haven’t tried this one yet though.
A scientist in the kitchen – Yeah the bottle is one of the cool things about it.
